Narrative

Santa by Ngaio We were learning to write a narrative. It was hard to get the writing done and put it into Canva. It was easy to draw the pictures and put them on the writing.I learnt that you need to have a characters, solution and a problem.

Symmetry

I have been learning to reflect the shape using a line of symmetry. It was hard to make a few by myself because it didn't have a shape to reflect. It was easy to make up a shape to do. I found that if you put a mirror in front of a shape then you can make Symmetry.

Fractions

We were learning to share out each object evenly. I found it hard because we had to work it out. I enjoyed when we got to place the object into the circles because you got to use the keys on your cromebook.

Perseverance

We are learning to see what perseverance means. The easy bit was when we had to put pictures in . It was hard to write about perseverance because we did not really know what it meant.

Bees in Trouble

We are learning to make a iMovie on the ipad about bees. It was easy to get all of the pictures on all of the parts of the movie. The hard bit was when we had the think about what we were going to write.

Reflection Term 1

It was hard when I had to do reading tasks and finish them. It was easy to finish my Mathletics tasks and do more of them. I need to improve on my writing because sometimes I never get it done in time. I have learnt to use Powtoon on my chromebook when I need it. I have liked doing Google Slides about animals and other things. I have not liked doing maths problems on my chromebook. I would like to use Raz-Kids more often to get better at my reading.
