Tramping

In the term holidays I went tramping up the back of Mount Somers. It was such a long walk we had to walk three hours the first day. It was really windy and steep up the mountain on the way, we crossed the incline in the mountain. One hour later we came across an old mine cart and old shovels and horseshoes. We stayed at the Woolshed creek hut there was at least forty people staying there. We had to stay in a big bunk room with other people. The next day we left early to walk several hours on the way, we stopped at the water caves and then an hour later we stopped and cought some skinks. And eventually we got to the carpark.

  2. Hi Ngaio, Belinda here your tramping story was very interesting. I bet you had very sore legs the next day. I think it is cool you came across the old mine cart. Good job on you writing.
